This is my own VX220 TURBO Stage 3. I am very fastidious with my cars and it took me 6 months to find this excellant example. Convesion cost 3.5k
The car is in stunning Sapphire Mettalic Black with matching black leather interior. This is the much sought after colour combination. Please do not confuse with the matt black or the many blue. red , yellow examples. Black is the only colour for the VXT
The standard VX220 turbo is a quick car 0-60 in 4.7 secs & 197bhp ( 267nm Torque) but after driving the std car I was felt the car lacked depth in its power delivery with several 'Flat' Spots in its torque curve. ( This is a known VXT issue). The TMS Stage 3 conversion results in 259bhp (333nm Torque) and crucially rectifies the flat spots giving a much linear stronger mid range whilst be completely driveable at normal speeds.
The car also has Charge Cooler fitted which reduces in take tempreture by 30% further increasing performance especially in the summer. The added power gain is completely safe with the 220 turbo engine and is covered by the warrenty.
A full milltek sports exhaust is also fitted which adds 15bhp in its own right & is the definative sports exhaust for the VX220 turbo adding deeper sound without any extra boominess or resonance at motorway speeds. It's also fitted std to the VXR220. The std vxt always sounded like a hair dryer imho and I regard it as a essential modification. The milltek is not to be confused with cheaper aftermarket products.
Mintex 1144 track compound pads fiitted all round in February 2007 at a cost of £150. Excellant pad for road and the occasional track use
PlansMotorsport Geo setup completed in September 2006. The VX220 benifts enourmously from a proper suspension setup taking out some of the inhrent understeer found in models straight out of the factory this is a absolute necessaity with any vx220 and improves the handling 100%.
Surplus Oil catch tank also fitted by plans to remedy any potential overflow leaks from the engine bay.
Expansion tank replaced under warrenty November 2006.
All other warrenty recall work fully completed by Vauxhall and TMS.
Upgraded Alpine T350 amplifire situated behind drivers seat linked to a MP3 head unit. JL audio speakers with seperate tweeters and the back panel proffesionaly Dyanmated to enhance sound when you have the roof down.
Passenger footrests fitted and touring pack side pockets.
The front tyres were replaced in December 06 & Service intervals maintained regardless of cost at Vauxhall Main dealer and Thorney Motorsport Milton Keynes. Only ever used high performance brake and engine oil.
The clutch has been replaced under warrenty in September 2006 - This is a 10 hour labour job at a approx cost of 3k this was completed under warrenty So peice of mind that the clutch will not need replacing for a while.
Unmarked Black convertible roof as been regulary treated with Zymol conditioner.
The car is in as original condition, looks stunning in mettalic black with the black 'V' and drives without fault . This is a stage 3 model which is a league apart from the standard base versions. I have driven many sports cars but in terms of handling and outright performance this is somthing very speacial you will not be dissapointed.

This is a regrettable sale of a much cared for car. Always garaged and Zymoled waxed regularly.
The original purchase price including the conversion was in excess of £25k. Genuine reason for sale.
